This album cover has been staring at me tonight, propped up against the blue cupboard that my record player stands upon. The Boss, as he is known, looks hungry and sullen. The blue B-Movie font leads you to believe there are pulpy tales to be told within the record, and you need look no further than the title track for confirmation. A tale of two young lovers whose dream turns sour during an economic downturn , it chillingly concludes, “Is a dream a lie if it don’t come true/or is it something worse”. Superb.
